Then I get off dean and wait for the bus. Then at 7:05 we get on the other bus and go to school. Finally I get tho school.

Independence Rock

Independence Rock is an important landmark. In 1961 Independence Rock was made into a national historic landmark, and its owned and operated by the state of Wyoming. The rock is somewhat like the rounded enchanted rock of Texas. It’s about 60 miles southwest of Casper, and about 20 miles northeast of Muddy Gap. So as you can see, Independence Rock is a very important landmark.

North Platte River

The North Platte River is an important landmark. The river was also a major problem for the immigrants because the river was really difficult to cross. The North Platte flows through the center of Casper, Wyoming. The North Platte is also a very good place to have fun; you can float down the river in just about anything that floats. So as you can see, the North Platte River is a very important landmark.

Fort Casper was a trading post in 1859 . It was named after Casper Collins. Who was a lieutenant. The post was first used for a toll brige along the Oregon trail. Then in 1865 it was made in to a military post. Fort caper was made right by the organ trail. It’s in the middle of Wyoming.
